Due to a full timetable this week, we have postponed the Middle Teams Assembly to Thursday 5th September at 2.00pm.

Elsie Curtis and Ashleigh Grigg proudly represented our school in the Kapi-Mana Scripture Competition at St Theresa's, Plimmerton. Elsie competed in the Year 5 section and won her category, while Ashleigh did a fantastic job in the Year 6 section. They joined students from St Joseph’s Levin, Holy Family Porirua, St Pius X Titahi Bay, St Francis Xavier Tawa, and St Theresa’s Catholic School Plimmerton, with students showcasing their scripture proclamation skills in English, Māori, or Samoan.

We want to say a huge congraulations to Natalie Teahan who was awarded 2nd Place - Children’s Category in the Kāpiti Libraries Poetry Competition. Natalie submitted a beautiful poem that she had written in class.

It looks like a fire that is falling from the sky.

It tastes like the last morsels of toasted marshmallows.

The leaves veins stick out and they feel like the ribs of the human body.

I can smell the sweet honey scent of the fallen leaves. It sounds like the leaves are talking as the cool autumn wind blows.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made our school disco a night to remember! An extra special thank you goes to all our wonderul sponsors. Special thanks must also extend to Lyndsey and Alex for generously donating the glow sticks and UV tattoos that added so much fun. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the volunteers who helped out on the night, and to our amazing Board Reps, including Sa our Presiding Member.

Adele and Shonagh, thank you for capturing all those memorable moments with your photos. And a big shoutout to our wonderful PTA group for their excellent planning—this event wouldn’t have been possible without you! We also appreciate the staff who attended and the Student Council for packing all the lolly bags.

The children had an absolute blast, and it’s all thanks to your support!

A big thank you to Katie  Tschurtschenthaler for her incredible work as the team coordinator for our futsal team. Our futsal team would not have been able to play without Katie taking on this role and supporting our kids every week. 

Hockey has finished for the year! We wanted to send a huge thank you to Michele McDonald and Helen Atkinson for organising our teams, coaching our children and for supporting them every week. We were able to have over 20 students playing hockey thanks to their incredible support and dedication.
